Stony Point High IB World School

On March 26th, students from Law Enforcement and Forensic Science visited the Travis County Medical Examiner's office in Austin. Students traditionally have not been able to tour the facility but recently, due to a shortage in the field, the TCME has opened its doors to partner with high school students across the area to introduce and encourage students in Law Enforcement and Forensics to consider this very important career field. Our students walked away with valuable insights into the process of death investigations. This was a valuable opportunity to take what they learn in the Law Enforcement and Forensic Science course studies.
